The 2009 Pittsburgh Dance Weekend was held Nov 13-15 at the Edgewood Club.  The weekend was filled with great dancing, instruction, social time, singing, lots of great music, calling, and lots of great food!  The entire weekend went without a hitch and the great folks in Pittsburgh made sure that all their guests felt at home. Dancing Included Contra, Dutch Crossing, Square, Waltz, and English Dances. 

The bands were Toppish featuring the calling of Shawn Brenneman and Crowfoot with Rick Mohr Calling, Amarillis played for Waltzes, and Allison Thompson called English Dances.  Gaye Fifer and Wayne Albright taught the Dutch Crossing and Waltz lessons.

Dancers came from PA, WV, VA, OH, TN, NY, DE, MD, NY, ME, WI, NC, MI, and Ontario.  The weather could not have been better and the Venue was great.  Please enjoy a few of the photographs I took during a few of my breaks from dancing.
